Love how these feel and fit. Denim is a great mix of a durable feeling material but still with some stretch. Definitely suggest sizing down if you're between sizes. Favorite jeans in my closet.
I really wish more people knew about Fran Denim. This is the only pair of jeans I’ve ever found that is truly athletic fit. They fit my waist perfectly and have room throughout the jeans, while also shaping around the musculature of my lower body. Love these.
I wouldn’t say that I’m super muscular in terms of bulk – I’m 170 pounds at 5’10” around 12% - 15% body fat - so I’m kind of surprised that when I find an athletic fit jeans, they don’t fit me the way they should. Most jeans are super tight around my thighs, but then they have one to 2 inches of space between my waist and the jeans. There’s this annoying gap there that frustrates me and eventually I get rid of that pair of pants.
Fran has been the exception – these jeans actually have some room in the thighs and glutes, and they fit snuggly around my waist. I’ve spoken with the owner and learned about how he sources and manufacturers the jeans and this is also very impressive. He’s doing it better than the bigger brands, and actually making jeans for athletic fitting people.
Huge fan of Fran – and I hope that everyone who lift weights starts using them more.
These are the best fabric- silky soft but keep everything in place when working out. Fit is true to chart as well.
I was worried about how my legs would look in these jeans, but love them. They are a touch long for me 5’2” 135lbs, but with a nice pair of heels/boots, they are perfect. No waist gap and my legs don’t look like stumps (wide leg jeans are not for me).
I am 5'9" & 209 lbs (174 cm & 95 kg) and had a difficulty to find jeans which would fit me, because most of the brands on the market are for thin legs/slim fit. I have a pair of Levi's 541 athletic fit 33/32 which fit me well, but it seems this model is no longer available in Europe. So, I read some reviews on the internet, and bought a pair of Abercombie & Fitch Athletic Loose Jean 32/32, which were fine for my thighs but too narrow for my waist/seat, then I tested a 32/32 Everlane's The Athletic 4-Way Stretch Organic Jean, which seemed to be stylish and of good quality but were too narrow for my thighs and seat. Finally I tested a 33/32 Levi's Men's 550 Relaxed fit model, which was narrow for the waist/seat, but fine for the thighs.
After all these attempts I ordered a pair of Fran Denim, model 33/34 Daniel Straight Leg Black. The pair arrived, but unfortunately the jeans were too narrow for my waist. Otherwise the fit was very comfortable and the feel of the material was pleasant. I returned this pair.
Then I ordered the same model with a size up, that is 34/34. The fit is very comfortable indeed! The waist and seat have enough space but these areas are not baggy at all, while there is rather a loose fit in my thighs.
I am very happy with the service. The delivery of the first pair 33/34 took longer than expected, the return window was closed. But Robert supported me well and I got a refund. Thank you Robert!
Great fit, fabric lightweight. I ordered a size 26 and I am 5'4 - 125lb. Very comfortable fit.

I have other styles from Fran Denim. Love them all. But these have become my new favorite. Please make them in blue.
As a CrossFitter, I am constantly struggling to find jeans that make enough room for my quads but still fit around my waistline. These jeans don’t tug around my thighs and calves the way so many regular jeans do—Frandenim pants actually fit and they are super cute. I’m so thankful these jeans exist! I will be buying another pair!
These fit perfect and a great length. I'm 5'5", 145 lbs and wear a size 28 in this brand.
I have a couple other pairs of other styles and wanted a boot cut. These are perfect and are now my favorite 😍
Same with the skinny jeans I ordered, I got a 28 based off of the model’s measurements. I’m 155#, 29 inch waist, 41 inch hips. These jeans were very snug to start but they relax pretty quickly without looking frumpy. They look really nice and feel durable.
So I ordered a 28 based off the size of the model wearing size 27 (I am 155#, 29 inch waist, 41 inch hips). When I first put them on I thought I had made a huge mistake - they were verrrry snug. But after a few minutes they relaxed a bit and now fit perfectly. I appreciate that these feel like actual durable jeans and not like jeans-ish leggings.
I used to hate my legs and finding clothes for my athletic build (mostly my legs) was more of a challenge than I even knew. When I got older I started loving my muscles and bigger quads but still struggled with jeans fitting properly. These are a game changer for me. I highly recommend giving them a try!
