Absolutely love my jeans! I have always had a hard time finding jeans that fit around my thighs with no gap at the waste. So comfortable and can’t wait to get more!
I’ve been wearing Fran Denim for a few years now and these are my new favorite. I love the simple wash and the straight leg is the perfect width.
The petite length is perfect for my 5’2” height and they don’t stretch out easy so I can wear them multiple times without feeling like I have to pull them up all the time.
My only complaint is that they don’t come in more washes!
I LOVE this jacket! This is my new favorite jean jacket. It fits well in my shoulders and arms, which has always been a struggle for me. I'm 5'7" and 170 lbs and I bought a Large, it fits perfect!
I can't tell you how happy I was to get these jeans. Usually jeans have that dreaded waist gap and are too long. These jeans were perfect - no alterations needed. Really like the straight style.
These shorts are so cute and flattering!
I love Fran jeans because the cut (proportionally smaller waist and thicker thighs) fits my body better than any other brand. You might question whether the Fran cut makes a difference with short shorts… well, it does! These are actually comfortable!!
I've purchased Fran Denim long jeans before but never jean shorts so wasn't sure how this was going to work out. I was also skeptical that I would like the fray on the ends but I wanted this darker color and high rise, so I got this pair. The fit is perfect and the cut flatters my butt and thighs. And I actually think the fray looks great. I normally order petite sizes so thought this may look a little longer than a typical 3'' inseam on me but it was still pretty short. The amount of high rise was perfect. The fabric is thinner than other things I've ordered from Fran Jeans so just an FYI it may be better to wear seamless undies or a thong under this. The first time I washed it, I accidentally missed the instructions to not dry it but it turned out okay, still. Now, I just wish Fran Denim would create another high rise fray jean short with longer inseams in this dark wash, which is such a nice color. For reference. I am 5'3'', between 120-125 lbs. and ordered a size 26.
Love the fit on these—I prefer this cut to the skinnier ones (Nate). Got the wrong set in the mail and support was super prompt and helpful in getting a return slip to me and shipping replacements!

I can’t say enough about these jeans (and Fran Denim in general). I always had the same problem - jeans/pants would be too tight in the thighs and too loose in the waist. Even so called “curvy” jeans from other brands didn’t fit because they didn’t give extra room in the thighs, only the butt.
But the Nora jeans actually fit! And not just in a ‘good enough, I can live with this’ way. They feel GREAT!
A couple more things:
—I also bought the Ellen Jean (slightly longer inseam and slightly higher waist) in a different color and love those jeans just as much as the Nora’s. They feel a bit different as expected but fit just as well.
—I held off on buying this brand for several years because I am loath to spend more than $40 on jeans. But in hindsight, I spent way more money buying pair after pair of less expensive jeans that didn’t fit. I think these jeans are worth every penny and don’t bother looking at other brands anymore, no matter how cheap they are.
Nothing wrong with garages, but when I go to work, or out to dinner, I don’t want to look like my jeans to look like that’s the last place I wore them. I wanted jeans that stretch for a lifters body, nice enough to wear to a good restaurant. I got both. Love both the Sarah style, and the Ellen Flare! Both hug in the right places, but aren’t to constrictive, with the right inseam, and rise lengths. Buying more!
These fit great! Perfect length and not to tight on the bottom! If i sized down it would has been to tight but there a little bit in the waist but perfect!
I have two pairs of the April jeans now. They are some of the best fitting jeans I’ve ever owned. I run and lift, but am also post menopausal and they fit my shape well. Appreciate the spandex.
I didn't want to love $90 shorts. I wanted to try them on, hate them, and return them for my money back. ...instead I adore them and may buy more! My legs don't feel pinched, which also means the entire crotch area didn't sit weird and feel pinchy. The waist actually fits. Unfortunately, Fran Denim is keeping my money because I can't part with these shorts.
