This boot cut jean is made specifically for taller ladies with an athletic build. No gap on the waist, more room on the thighs and rear, and a longer inseam.

Model is 6' tall.

Waist will sit just below the belly button on most people.

  • When measuring, do not pull the measuring tape too tight. Allow it to rest flat on the body without any pulling or sagging. 
  • If your measurements don't fall within the specs, use the height and weight chart. It means the contour of your body is different than our base line but it should fit where the jeans actually rest. Feel free to email us if in doubt. 
  • You want them to fit snug at first. As with all jeans, they loosen up after wearing them for a while so you want it to be snug when you first put them on.
  • If you're in between sizes, go with the smaller size.
  • If in doubt, go with the size you normally wear without compensating for your quads.
  • Make sure to read the product descriptions. There are a few styles that are running big or small and you have to adjust accordingly. 
  • Please remember that this is internet shopping and there are too many body types for the sizing charts to work 100% of the time. It may take an exchange to get it right. We provide free shipping for the first exchange.
  • If you need additional help, email us here (contact page) with your measurements around your belly button and widest part of your hips, height and weight. We are more than glad to help.

JACKETS - we suggest going with your shirt size. 

 MEN

  • Order the normal waist size you would wear without compensating for your thighs and glutes. For example, if you would normally wear a 32 but have to buy a 33 just to fit your quads, order a 32. These jeans come with more room in the quads and rear so you don't have to size up.

I love these so much

This is my first pair of Fran Denim. I am loving them! The fit is so right. I'm 5'11" and 170lbs. The length is perfect, the fit hugs in all the right places. I got size 30. I loved them so much I ordered another pair in the Helen long Inseam Skinny Medium. I would love more color options for the long inseam!! Would literally by them all! Thank you for making jeans for the tall athletic frame. It's the best!

A former athlete

I’m a 39 year old former athlete and military veteran (now disabled). I have a very rectangular shape and have struggled with finding jeans that fit and stay up for my whole life. I’m also 5’10” and have a 35” inseam. These jeans are absolutely worth the money. I would buy these in any color they offer. I wore mine for nearly two weeks without washing and they still stay where I want them to. I’m not hiking them up every time I stand up. I don’t like skinny jeans so these are the only pair I have purchased so far. 10/10

Favorite jeans

These jeans fit perfectly - no having the waist tailored or wearing a belt. Just enough stretch to be comfortable but not so much they get saggy. The boot cut style is more of a flare than a traditional boot cut. Love the long length - I’m not super tall, but have long legs. I’m 5’9”, 180 lbs and ordered a size 31.
