5'8", 150 lbs, size 28. I bought these a few months ago. I'm pretty lazy with my pants-- I tend to wear one pair all week. I have giant thighs, and as a result my thighs have eaten several pairs of pants. Thanks, chub rub. The texture of these jeans does feel a little cheap. Historically, I have not loved spandex in my jeans. I like 99% cotton or 100% cotton. Don't ask me why, but those jeans never have room for thick thighs or a big rear. These jeans do, and they actually look good. I still get the waist gap with these jeans, but I think it's impossible to have a low cut and no gap at all. I still have to wear a belt, but I'm not pulling them up every 30 minutes. I wear these to work, on short hikes, and even when I'm relaxing at home. That's right. I don't rip them off the second I come home. This is the most I've ever spent on jeans, and if they last >2 years, I probably would again.
I have tried several other fits from fran denim and love them! They are all higher rise than these however. I tried these and there wasn’t quite enough room in the rear but fit my waist and quads. I ordered the same size as my other Fran denim jeans that fit well or on the slightly loose side. I’d order up one more size maybe. I am 5’5”, 158 lbs, and got a size 29.
Absolutely love it! Jeans fit perfectly, size was right on. I am 138-140, 5’5 and I got size 27. Very comfortable fit, and looks amazing! Material stretchy and soft, just perfect!
Size chart mislead me .. I reordered a larger size. I’m 5’3” weigh 120 and tried size 24 way too tight !
