Our sizing is very different from other jeans. Please measure according to our sizing chart.
NOTE: You want them to fit nice and snug at first but not uncomfortably tight. They will loosen up a bit as you wear them.
I absolutely love these jeans. Being 5'0 and 160 pounds, ordered a size 29. They fit like a glove. I've never had a pair of jeans fit so perfectly. They are legitimately low rise and sit just above my csection scar with no gap in the back. They hug my thighs and butt exactly, and have enough flex that I can squat with no restriction, and the material is thick enough that they protect my thighs from the heat of my motorcycle. Will definitely buy again.
In standing, I love these jeans. They make my butt look great and seem to fit nice and snug with no waist gap like all my other pairs of fran denim jeans. However, when I bend over or squat down, I end up with plumber's butt. Definitely not nearly as bad as a typical low rise, but butt crack peaks out over the top. I'm 5'7", about 150 lbs, athletically built (think slight V shape from shoulders to hips, small hips for a woman, typically 16-19% body fat) with what I think is a decent butt but not unusually large, and I ordered a size 26. So, I find it frustrating that this happens. I'm still keeping the pants because they fit great in standing, are flattering in standing, and are comfortable. I'll just have to be careful. Wishing they had just a little more room in the butt.
I'm 5'3", ~125 lbs, and comfortably fit in size 25 (preferred) and 26. I thought I loved Fran Denim before but once I tried on these low rise jeans I realized my previous love was nothing compared to these.
I don't feel like I'm busting out of the top like I do with some low rise jeans, they aren't super low rise, and they're stretchy/comfortable enough to wear all day sitting in an office chair but also walking my dogs up and down hills.
