These fit like a glove and I will be ordering more.
Not a huge fan of “skinny” jeans so these are my compromise for the skinny look but still accommodating muscular calves. Similar to my other 4 pairs, these mold to my body in about an hour or so and feels like a second skin. I love that this brand fits my hourglass figure without waist gaps and doesn’t try to flatten my booty. Ordered in 27 with 26”W 29” at belly button 38”hips 5’7” 155. I have 26 & 27 in different styles but prefer 27 in the skinnier styles.
These are the first pair of jeans that have fit me perfectly! I have spent a lifetime buying and altering jeans.. finally got it right.
Two suggestions: 1. Black jeans 2. A little stretch would be great to keep the shape
I have not had a pair of jeans that fit well since I was in my teens. These jeans are amazing, they fit like they were custom made for me. I'm 5'5" and weigh just about 150 pounds. I used the suggested measurements of right at the belly button and the largest part of the booty which came out to 30" and 38" I do have a muscular build and went with a size 27. I love that I don't have to struggle to get them on or wear a belt to keep them up. I can't even wear my old jeans anymore because I know how comfortable I am in my Fran Denim.
I have eyed Fran Denim for years now, but was never confident in sizing to actually purchase. I am 5'7" 76kg weightlifter usually weighing between 72-75kg and went with size 29. Perfect for thick legs, butt, and waist. Before I was wearing jeans from Lucky, which I also do like, and those were size 30 with the long size, but tight tight tight with not much give. After reading reviews I chose 29 from Fran Denim and they fit really well! The only change I would make for future orders is ordering a mid rise waist because the high rise is a high rise. Do it!!
Best jeans & worth the money. Very comfortable, fit my thighs and no gap.
I was really disappointed because I've loved so many other purchases. These were at least 5 inches too long and will have to be altered for me to be able to wear them.
I really like these jeans. This is my first pair if Fran Denim. They are so comfortable and very flattering. They hug in the right places without being uncomfortable. My quads, butt, and waist finally fit the same pair of jeans. I am 5'6" and 165lbs. Athletic but curvy. My measurements didn't work well with the measurement sizing guide, so I used the height/weight chart. I was in between sizes. Unfortunately I got a little nervous and ordered up rather than down. The 31's were too big and I had to exchange for 30's. The 30's fit perfectly. A little snug in the waist at first, but they loosened up after wearing a bit.
I loved them so much I ordered a second pair. I’m 5’7”, 180lbs with a booty and thick thighs. These jeans fit the curves just right and no waist gap.
I wasn't sure Fran denim was going to make a pant in my size. I'm 5'8 and 200 pounds, powerlifter, I normally wear about a 14 maybe a 16. I bought these Nora jeans in a "33", when I first got them I tried them on and was super bummed they were too tight! I then read other reviews and the website and decided to keep and wear them hoping they would stretch a little bit, and low and behold, they did! They actually fit PERFECTLY now and if I lose any weight I would actually need to size down. These are by far the best fitting jeans I've owned in a REALLY long time. I have a hard time finding jeans that fit my body shape correctly but these are amazing. I was a little put off by the price, as it's pretty darn high for a pair of jeans, but I've had them a while now and so far no fraying or stitching or anything coming loose so I think they're worth it, I'll definitely be buying more Fran denim! Highly recommend.
These are probably the best, most comfortable jeans I have ever bought. I have ALWAYS struggled with buying jeans; having a more muscular build including larger thighs and behind with a smaller waist, but these jeans fit in all the right places. There is no waist gap and they truly are squat proof. I went based on the sizing chart and it is pretty spot on, and I could have even gone one size down as they become more loose as you wear them.
These jeans are well worth it, and I will definitely be making more purchases here!!
I purchased these jeans and love them. I am 150lbs, per the size chart it said I needed a 28. I ordered a 27 based on the model size and weight and had to size down to a 26. In Madewell jeans I am a 25/26. These fit great and I have gotten lots of compliments. No gap in the back and my legs fit! They do stretch too
I just received my Ellen Flare Dark Wash and I am very pleased. They are super flattering. The legs are long for me but that is always the case for me - short legs. I am 5'6" and 150 pounds and I purchased a size 30. They fit well and are comfortable. I think they will relax a little, too, and that will make me happier.
I put these on to see how they break in and I just haven't taken them off. I have a very finicky hip that will start reacting to any clothing putting pressure in the wrong place, but so far no issues with these. I'm so excited! I never thought I'd be able to wear jeans all day again!
These are size 28 and are a comfy, relaxed fit for me after a few hours. Could probably take in the waistband an inch or two but it's not really an issue. I think I could wear 27 if I wanted them a little tighter.
These jeans are great! No back gaps fit my legs and waist
Such a great pair of jeans! They’re comfortable and fit my waiste and thighs and even the length
had a friend over that I convinced to try buy a pair of jeans from you while she was here … when they arrived it was the bedst fitted jeans she had ever tried… absolutely a success
I bought these because my legs outgrew my Old Navy jeans. These fit snug around my waist with room for my legs and no gap in the back. Could not be more pleased. I am 5'6", 191 lbs with a 34" waist. I bought a size 32.
Madisons in this wash are my favorite jeans. I have a 44.5” hip measurement and wear size 31.
They are a perfect fit and very comfortable
5’5” and 140 athletic build. Got a 28 and the jeans fit well. Material is nice and soft and maintains it’s shape. It does have a weird smell out of the box but I hope it’ll wash away. Pockets are shallow as well but otherwise love the jeans. I also did have them hemmed to shorten them an inch. I would buy them again for the fit.
Finally. Jeans not jeggings that fit. Love these. Like the model have 30" belly button but 39.5 bum.... went with the 27 first buttttt the bum was too snug. Sized up to 28 and love. Eventually will buy in every color. Inseam is perfect too (I'm 5'7", 145 lbs 27" waist/waist ... have a bit of Rona lockdown poof. :P). Love love love
So happy to find a jean for athletic fit women! I am a customer for life now!
This was my second pair ordered & love them!
Jeans arrived today and they fit great except I ordered a medium wash and what came was a dark wash. Not even close to advertised photo.Very disappointing as already have dark wash jeans ( different brand)and the only reason I ordered them was to get a lighter wash.waste of shipping fee.
I’ve bought 2 pairs of Fran denim, I have loved both styles
Seriously, these jeans fit like they were tailored just for my body, they’re so soft and comfortable. I could wear them all day everyday!
I’ve been buying Fran denim for years! I’ve always had an athletic lower half due to soccer and never have been able to wear jeans that fit. I am 5’2”, 123lbs and wear a size 26. I prefer the crop or the petite high rise jeans.
They are good in that they do fit athletic build but are kinda thin and not the best style. They’ll work but not my favorite FD jean.I do like that they are shorter but will have to finish the bottom myself because it frays a lot with each wash.
These jeans are the perfect “go to” jean. They are easy to dress up or down. They are comfortable from the minute you put them on and stay that way all day. Easy to care for and durable!
Size 29 (I like mine a little lose).
Very comfortable, good movement. Fit 5'8", 150 lbs, woman
I am 5’8”, approx 153 lbs and I ordered a 29 in these. I do enjoy the relaxed fit, I will say that the crotch area sits a bit low and did cause some discomfort, unpleasant bunching. These were also a bit buggy under the bum. Overall, they are comfortable, I do like the length inseam wise. I DO enjoy these pants.
The jeans are fantastic for me. I don't like the look of skinny jeans on me. I do not work out, but have always been thick-thighed and large bottomed. The are a great rise for my mommy belly and I love the loose fit.
I absolutely love these jeans! So glad they finally make a petite boot cut. They remind me of what I wore in high school 15 years ago. Minus the high rise, which is just awesome for my mom body lol. I'm a 5'4" 135 lb crossfitter, and I got a size 28.
Love the fit in hips/thighs/waist but even petite sizing is too long. I'm 5'2" and unless I wear these with high heels, which I won't, I'll need to have them altered.
My Granddaughter loved these so much I had to buy her 2 more pair!
I myself have 2 pair... We both love them!
So originally I ordered a size 30 and they fit great but was not as snug above the butt. Exchanged for size 29 and they fit amazing! I’m actually going to order another pair because they feel so good on. I might even size down one more since I’m trying to loose weight and they do loosen up a little after wearing them for a while. I’m 5’2 148-150lbs. They are definitely pricey, but so worth it! It’s better to have jeans that feel good, and look good than several cheap ones are uncomfortable and not flattering.
I first heard about Fran Demin on Instagram, and I wasn't sure if the cut was going to be for me. But, I've always been thicc through the thighs, and have had to size up in the past for that reason. And THEN I saw that they offered a petite flare jean, which I've been looking for forever. I'm 5'3" and the 30" inseam is perfect! They just barely graze the ground in the back with flats and look super cute with heels, too. I wasn't sure what size to order because I was in-between on both the measurement and height/weight charts, and I reached out to customer support. They got back to me, made a sizing recommendation and they fit PERFECTLY. These are totally worth the price tag.
I debated returning these but ended up keeping them because they actually do fit and it’s so hard for me to find jeans that fit. I didn’t realize that they were going to be ankle-length. I’m 5’8’ 165 and the 31’s fit my waist and have room in the hips but don’t even reach my ankle. The inseam is also very long -well above belly-button. It would be great if it were an inch or two shorter in the front.
All I can say is OMG!!! I am typically not an online clothes shopper.. I've always been "hard to fit" with thicker thighs and smaller waist and going out on a limb to purchase at these prices set my anxiety on high! BUT after reading all the reviews I took the leap of faith and ordered.. YES! I'm in heaven. Hands down the most comfortable jeans I have EVER owned. Fit is perfect. Style is perfect. Quality is amazing. I am a forever customer now!!! I am 5'5-1/2" 145lbs 35-36" Hips, 28" Waist and got a size 26 and the fit is absolutely perfect. They do have stretch and are looser after wearing a while but still very comfortable and flattering.
I have 4-5 pairs of Fran and this is my favorite so far. The most comfortable and I like the inseam length. I'm 5'1'' and weigh 125 and I got the 24. Is a little more roomy than other pairs of Fran I have but I actually like that. Some of the other Frans I have are a little tighter than I'd like. They fit me fine, but I like the extra room in the mom jeans. I would love a pair that fits similarly, but isn't quite as high rise.
Fran has to be my all time favorite jeans ever. I expanded my wardrobe with the Esme mom jean, and I was not disappointed. They run a teeny bit bigger than the other styles, but still fit with room for the peach and no gap at the waist.
I've been thinking about purchasing Fran denim for a while, but the price made me hesitate. I finally bought them as a birthday present for myself, and I'm so pleased that I did! When I put these jeans on, it was truly the first time I can remember ever pulling on pants and knowing they fit exactly as they should. I have always struggled to find pants that didn't have an enormous waist gap or too-tight thighs. Even "curvy fit" pants don't accommodate my athletic build. These are wonderfully comfortable and cute, and no tugging whatsoever to get them on. I love them, and I'm looking forward to getting more.
I ordered according to website recommendations (28) & had to exchange for a 31, which was fairly easy. Customer service reached out to me, to make sure the 31s would fit all my measurements. I’m Native American & an ice hockey goalie, so the 28s wouldn’t even go on over my 25 inch quads. The 31s fit perfectly! The waist is loose enough to tuck a shirt in comfortably, if I want, but not enough to slide down or gap at all. I got the flares so I don’t know if I’d have a problem with my 16 inch calves in the skinny jeans or not. The denim thickness & the super sturdy zipper are superior to FitJeans (their largest size was tighter than compression leggings & those were a nightmare to return; I had to file an application & wait for it to be approved). I’m 5ft 2, weight 162, with a 30 inch waist & 42 in hips (glutes), for additional reference.
I am glad I purchased these jeans - so comfortable! The only thing I wish was different was the length. I could’ve used an extra inch or two to make these jeans perfect!
love the feel and fit of these jeans, however the pockets just seem very off for me, too high (yes i know they are high rise) just dont get why pockets have to be so high up makes my bum look kind of flat :-( the rest of the fit is great i do love the feel and comfort of these jeans.
I’m 5ft 6 and 138lbs and bought size 28. I have a-line hips. I love these jeans! So stretchy and soft and they look great on my thighs and butt :D
Best pair of jeans ever!!!
I love these pants. The only downside is the frayed bottom. There’s no seam to stop the fray from raveling in the washer. I’ll take them to get stitched because I love my Fran!
These are the best jeans I’ve ever worn. I’m 5’5 and weigh 160. I ordered a 30.
Super comfortable but I should have sized down.
I decided to try out Fran denim as I have always had big thighs and a big booty. Now that I’m in CrossFit I get the ads for athletes clothes and saw these. My measurements were not on the chart so I went with height and weight chart like they suggested (5’3” and 150 pounds, waist is 31 and hips 43) and the 29s fit perfectly. They are super comfortable for jeans too, I can lounge around in these. I can squat and kneel without my booty sticking out which is great for a mom of toddlers. They are pricey, but I’m willing to pay that much if they fit like they claim and are made in America. Very happy with these, will definitely be getting a second pair.
Have been trying to find JEANS not jeggings. Thrilled with these. 5'7", 145, belly button =30, bum =39.5, went with the 28. Can squat & sit comfortably in them. No fear of fanny crack sightings. Inseam is perfect for my height too. Deeelighted. Fit girl problems no more.
These jeans fit me in the hips and thighs AND have no waist gap, even sitting or squatting. The fit is snug but comfortable, and I can still do the splits without any pinching or having to readjust. Love the mid rise and long inseam, since I am proportionally short waisted with long legs. 5'4" 150 lbs size 29
These are my first FD flare jeans and I couldn’t be happier! The fit is as usual ON POINT and they have a perfect higher raise waist. I wish they came in more colors! I definitely recommend. I bought my normal FD size. They stretch out after wearing them one day so I could go down one size for a tighter fit. I am 5’4’’, 145 for reference and wear size 27. The length is perfect!
I have a pair of skinny jeans that are a bit long but ok since they're skinny. For reference I'm 5'4". These are even longer than the skinny jeans (yes, i checked and i definitely ordered and got petites). They come past my toes! And the flare on the boot cut is pretty dramatic to the point of being reminiscent of the flare jeans of the late 90's/early 00's. Even if I got them hemmed the diameter of the leg is so side it's like a tent around my boot.
I bought these trying to find a pair of jeans that fit my body type. Man, did they deliver. I even brought them to work for my co-workers to try on. They loved them too and will be purchasing some soon. Thank you for a jean that finally fits correctly!
I’m 5’4”, 165lbs, 31” small of waist, 35” at belly button, 38” at hip crease, 41” mid butt, 24” each thigh and the size 30 is perfect. The medium wash colour is really flattering, slightly faded in the seat and quads. Stretches nicely in the seat and thighs for easy movement, stays up in the waist with no gap in the back. The bootcut opening is perfect for exactly that - boots! Love these jeans. I also have them in the dark wash.
I wanted something to add to my FD collection that was not skinny jeans,
(LOVE the Nicole style) so I tried these out. I'm 5'4, 150lbs typically a 27 in FD. I ordered these in 27 and 28. The high waist is a bit weirdly high, but I've elected to keep the 28. The smaller size was just a tiny bit snug for jeans that I wanted to fit more loosely. They are definitely loose in hips/legs. I think these will be cute with all kinds of outfits, they are comfortable and the wash is great. I'd love a straight leg style with a short inseam and a waist like Nicole that does not have a raw hem. Looking forward to more styles from you FD!
I’ve only purchased jeans from Fran Denim since 2018. These are my new favorites. I’m only 4’-11” and these fit me as regular length jeans without needed hemmed, and they still fit perfectly. Love them! They are very comfy and fit me perfectly.
Riley Low Rise Bootcut Jean
Ok so I know high rise jeans are in but these are amazing!!!! I hope they are made in more washes :) fit true to size
