Nicole High Rise Skinny Dark Wash
Love these jeans!! Fit like a glove! Will have to order another pair because I want to wear these everyday :)
I have always had thick legs and a booty and as my fitness journey has progressed they have gotten bigger so I have had soo much trouble trying to find jeans that fit and are comfortable. I’m am so happy to have found these!
I was on the search for the best fitting skinny jean and a friend recommended I try Fran... I have to say they are the best I've tried and I've tried a lot of brands. They stay where they are supposed to stay! I would def size down one size from where you measure on the size chart. Based off the measurements I was a "27", But I bought a 26 and they are perfect. Sucks your waist right in like built in spanx. I have more of a runners build so my legs aren't built as some and they still work great for me. I'm 5'6" and weigh 144. I use them for date nights to riding my horses. Can't wait to buy more.
I love fran denim jeans! This is my 4th pair and the only jeans I wear. I'm in size 31 at 5'5", 165 pounds.
I have a couple of Fran Denim jeans. They are very comfortable and have no gap at the waist. The only problem is that I have the Nicole in two different washes and the lighter color is bigger than the dark wash. I kept it because I’m terrible about sending stuff back but now I don’t know what size to order next time. I like the tighter fit of the first pair better. If it wasn’t for this I would have given 5 stars.
Just did a Fran workout today. Woo hoo
I am 5’6 ish, and fluctuate between 138 and 148, but usually close to 142. Waist 27, hips 40, quads 20ish. Even before lifting I struggled with finding pants that fit my hip to waist ratio, because of that I ordered a 26. I’m a little fluffier right now because of thanksgiving and an injury, so these are pretty tight, but fit well, and NO waist gap (I think that’s a first for me). After a day of wearing they have stretched a bit, but not to the point of being baggy. Anticipating being away from the gym for awhile I ordered a 27, but I’m hanging on to the 26s for when I’m able to get back after it.
I was skeptical of paying this much for jeans but seriously seriously so worth it.
Significantly smaller than two other Fran jeans in same size. Great quality and color. Wish sizes were more consistent
New customer, sick of ‘normal’ jeans - will DEF be buying more! So comfy, look fantastic!!
I have eyed Fran Denim for years now, but was never confident in sizing to actually purchase. I am 5'7" 76kg weightlifter usually weighing between 72-75kg and went with size 29. Perfect for thick legs, butt, and waist. Before I was wearing jeans from Lucky, which I also do like, and those were size 30 with the long size, but tight tight tight with not much give. After reading reviews I chose 29 from Fran Denim and they fit really well! The only change I would make for future orders is ordering a mid rise waist because the high rise is a high rise. Place your order!!
I'm 5'3", 123-125lbs. I originally purchased a size 27 but ended up exchanging for a size 25. I'm in love with these jeans because I've FINALLY found a pair that fit both my thighs and my waist! Previously I paid at least double what I've paid for these when I purchased a custom-made pair of jeans that I was also in love with. I thought I would always have to purchase custom-made jeans due to the natural difference between my waist and thighs/hips in particular. So grateful my friend told me about this company! No more scrunched waist line. This will not be the last pair of jeans I order :D
Julie High Rise Skinny Black
I am normally a size 28 in jeans (I'm 5'7", 155lb, 29" high waist, 31" waist at belly button, 40" booty) and this also fits the Fran sizing. Because of the recommendation on the website to size up for the black Julie jeans, I ordered a 29. After wearing them once, they are baggy on the waist! I wish I had ordered the correct size 28. I also ordered another pair of jeans from Fran in size 28 and they fit perfectly. So if you size yourself to fit properly, I do not recommend going one size up for these black jeans.
Julie High Rise Skinny Black
Love the way these fit. They are my new favorite jeans! I’m 5’4, weigh about 135 and ordered a size 26.
I guess I am doomed to never be able to find pants that fit my small waist and huge booty and thighs well. I was really excited for these because everyone raved about catering to the athletic body. I am definitely bottom heavy but I have a really small waist and even these didn't work for me. I still gave 4 stars though because it isn't the companies fault my body is lame :( I am 5'-6" and 178 pounds.
I’m loving these-the exposed button fly is so cute! Perfect rise, and inseam length. I’m 5’4” 170ish with 31” waist and 44” hip. I ordered a size 29 and they fit like a glove. Great stretch/give in the fabric and they don’t get baggy with wear.
Was looking for a slightly different Jean style than what I already had. These are very cute and fit perfectly
5'2", 140 lb, athletic build (from Olympic weightlifting), size 26
The first time I put them on, it was love. Plain and simple, these jeans are amazing. This is my first pair of FD jeans.
A few notes:
- I was on the fence for months, as it sounds like many people were. How could they really be as good as they sounded? Well, to me, they are.
- I am a 27 in other brands, and even after comparing against the measurement chart and seeming to be a 27 in FD, I followed the advice of some reviewers and went a size down for a snug fit. BEST decision ever. They fit beautifully to my preference, like a second skin.
- Some reviewers mentioned the "flat-bottom" look the jeans gave them. I have an average-sized butt and thought the same when I first put them on. However, after a few times wearing them and a time or two through the wash, they loosened up a bit and that "flat-bottom" look doesn't seem to be a problem anymore.
The long and sort of it is: I recommend buying these jeans, possibly a size down, and not being too afraid of a slightly flat bottom when you first pull them on. Just do a squat, feel how they move with you, and marvel at the miracle. Thanks, FD.
I’m 5’2”, 120 lbs. purchased size 27. Perfect fit since I like to cuff. I may try a petite size next. So comfy. My favorite jeans!
First time ordering from this brand and now I finally know how it feels to have jeans that fit me! I followed the size chart and found I was in between sizes. I ended up sizing down to fit my waist and they fit perfectly! My only comment is that the ankle openings are pretty small and not stretchy, so getting my big feet out of them proves challenging every time. I am typically a 4/6 in jeans and ordered a 26.
These pants are well structured with stretch. I'm 5'3, 185lbs, 32" waist, 51" hips and each thigh is 30". I ordered the 32". They fit my butt and thighs exceptionally well. They were gapping in the waist like every pair of pants do, but you could see my butt crack so that was an immediate no for me lol. I also felt like they were more of a straight leg in the calf/ankle area... and not a skinny at all. I wanted to love them. My thighs were accommodated in a pair of jeans for the first time in YEARS. I'll try another fit next.
I'm 5'6" and 130-135 lbs. Despite the fact that apparently it's the pop culture aim to have an "itty bitty waist and a round thing in your face" -- jeans are NOT made for thin girls with big butts. I bought these on a whim — my other jeans are getting old, and autumn is here, and I just thought, "why not try this brand I've never heard of?" They arrived quickly, and once I slipped the 27s on, and it was pure joy. I couldn't believe it. They're COMFORTABLE. I never felt this way about jeans before. Anytime I'd get something that was comfortable in my hips, they'd slide down my waist. Anytime I'd get something that fit my waist, my thighs felt like they were on fire. These exist!
The best part? I now get to give away my mediocre-fitting jeans -- which gives me a heck a lot room in my pants drawer!
Do it!!
I’ve been struggling to find a dark wash almost straight leg but almost skinny jean jeans for months. I have a booty, 30.5 waist, 41 hips, 6’0 feet tall and these (size 30) feel like they were made for me. I’ve worn them five or six times now, I roll the hems to wear w combat boots bc that's my pref, and the waist is a tiny snug but they have started molding to me. No bagging, sagging, or overstretching. They are light enough for all-season wear but tough enough for every day. I’m thrilled, this won’t be my last pair! Please please please do more colors of this style and a little bit more tapered leg opening!
I'm 5'6" 136 and I love the way these jeans fit!! So does my husband!! I'm wearing size 28.
I am 5'7" and 135lb. I wasn't sure whether to size up or down, but I have pretty narrow hips so I went with a 26. My legs have NEVER properly fit into jeans. I've been an athlete my whole life and had just resigned myself to pants never fitting properly. These pants honestly fit me like a glove. They loosen a bit, so the recommendation to have them fit snug at first is spot on, but they don't completely loosen. In the past I feel like jeans have fit for a day and then just gone all saggy if I sat for a while or walked - basically if I did anything. These stay tight and flattering no matter whether I bike, walk, squat, whatever. The stretch is great too. I am so psyched I finally went for it with these!
Love Fran Denim jeans! I’m small waisted with bigger thighs n glutes and finally a pair of jeans that fit. 5’4” and 109… size 24. Great since I’m lifting and getting stronger and now great fitting jeans!💗👍
I now have 3 pair of fran denim. And I love them. They fit perfect for the athletically built lady.
Just got mine today and am in love. Will definitely be buying more. No waist gap or saggy butt! Wore them for four hours and they held their shape. The struggle to find pants that fit my thighs and waist is OVER. It only took 45 years! I’m 5’4” 133lbs. Measured my waist this week and it was 28” at the narrowest part.
The 27s fit perfectly. I’ve always had curves but recently have been strength training and building muscle.
Love the way these jeans fit.
Well made jeans that fit my hips and waist perfectly!!
I’m 5’2” and 125 lbs and wear a 24. The fit is great. Waist fits, thighs still a little tight but if I go up in size then there is extra fabric in front.
The only reason is not full stars 1: I had to cut the ankles of because I couldn’t fit my foot through the stitched opening (I wear a size 6 shoe, my feet are not big) 2: the medium wash is the same exact color as my Eva crop distressed dark wash jeans. I was hoping for lighter. Photo is to show color of jeans.
The most comfortable, best looking jeans I have ever worn. I could sleep in them! Just purchased pair number 6.
Emma Long Inseam High Rise Skinny Dark Wash
I’m 5’10”, weigh 160 lbs. Proportionally I have much larger quads and glutes compared to my waist, but there is still a significant gap in the jeans at my waist. I want to love them. Great color and length and just the right amount of stretch. Also love the durability and quality of material. Luckily my thighs and glutes keep them from falling, but the space between my waist and waist band of the jean is a few inches.
I’m 5’10, 170 #. I struggle with finding jeans that fit properly. I have bigger thighs and a smaller waist as well as bigger calves. I don’t like when they are too snug in certain places, when I have to yank them up in order to sit or having to adjust all the time. I finally caved and splurged on these jeans and they are so comfortable. I can literally walk around doing squats in them if I wanted to. The long inseam are *almost* too long but I like having the option to cuff them at the bottom! My only complaint is they do stretch a little bit so they become looser around my knees and right below my belt loops on my backside but I think the smaller size may have been too tight. I did follow the size guide and ordered a 29. Overall, I am loving my purchase and I’m going to be buying more!
I wear a 10/12 , 5ft 10. 34 Inseam. These jeans were the PERFECT Length for me. Also the Waist height is perfectly over my belly button, and I have a long torso. I saw the model wearing this style and she looked like my same build and height so I got size 31, but I could have worn a 30 Also as they have a lot of stretch. I will for sure buy another pair!
Great fit and get a lot of compliments!
Fit great for my small waist and curvier hips!
I finally broke down and spent the money for a pair of these jeans. They are totally worth every cent. They fit perfectly and I never have to pull them up! Seriously, I'm not just saying that! I wore them on Thanksgiving day and between cooking, eating, axe throwing and pulling a wagon with the grandkids, I never had to adjust these jeans. I was unsure about ordering them but after reading some reviews on how easy it was to return/exchange them, I went ahead and bit the bullet. I ordered a size 30, I'm 5'4" and weigh 160 lbs. Thanks, Fran Denim!
I bought these hoping for a looser fit, but they are as tight, if not tighter than the Nicoles that I bought in the same size: so they’re really somewhere in between a skinny jean and a boot cut at the ankles. Good things: great colour, perfect length in the legs and in the rise (waist)
Too long, and really fit like a skinny jean. I’m over skinny jeans, I want a jean that makes my butt look good and is flattering for muscular legs but leaves a little to the imagination. The waist isn’t too high, that’s another fad I cannot wait to end. Give me that mid rise jean. Size 27, 5’4, 137lbs.
I put these on to see how they break in and I just haven't taken them off. I have a very finicky hip that will start reacting to any clothing putting pressure in the wrong place, but so far no issues with these. I'm so excited! I never thought I'd be able to wear jeans all day again!
These are size 28 and are a comfy, relaxed fit for me after a few hours. Could probably take in the waistband an inch or two but it's not really an issue. I think I could wear 27 if I wanted them a little tighter.
These jeans are great! No back gaps fit my legs and waist
Finally found a company that actually makes well fitting, comfortable, and good looking jeans for my thighs without gapping at my waist!
Stats: 5'5", 129 lb, BMI 22, waist 29", hips 39", thigh 22", 55 yo grandmother. Purchased size 26 Ellen Flare Dark Wash jeans based on model measurements, customer comments, and size chart. Stretchy jean of excellent quality. Back waist gap is non-existent. Does not inhibit range of motion.
If you follow the size chart, you should get perfect fit. I am 5’8”, and wish these were longer.. but I’ll wear them with flats. Fran denim is the first pair of jeans I can wear without having the waist altered!! High Five!
I was skeptical about these jeans until I wore them for the first time. Ahhhh! No more hiking up my jeans all day. They stay in place and no gaps. Based on other reviews I did go down a size and they were a perfect fit. Ordering another pair now. I would like to see more options in the long inseam though.
I was very pleased when I received my jeans. I ordered the Emma Long High Rise Skinny.
I typically wear a 30 in regular jeans, I ordered a 29... now as I wear them, I could have gone to a 28. They do stretch quite a bit while you wear them.
I will certainly order again!
I recommend going 2 sizes down.
I am 5'7" (ish) and 160lbs with a "strong build" as they say... I bought size 29 (I maybe could've sized down, but idk, these fit pretty darn well). I am ALWAYS having trouble finding jeans that fit my thighs but also are snug on my waist. These jeans do just that- they are stretchy enough to hug my thighs and the high waist leaves no gap at my waist. The zipper is also high quality and little details like that matter. Would definitely recommend to other lifters and women with similar body type- thankful for my Fran Denim jeans!
These by far are my favorite jeans. I’ve been wearing the same jeans for the last 12 years - and they can’t hold on much longer. I have been looking for the perfect pair of jeans to fit my thick legs and bottom. I’ve tried other jeans with similar material and they would always slide down. These jeans stay put! I’m 5’9” and 186lbs and the 30” fit me like a glove. Bought another pair already!
Love the fit of these jeans. The fabric feels like a good quality, not flimsy, and they hold their form well after a few days of wearing. I just wish there were more colors! 5’9” 170, size 29 fit great.
I love the fit of these jeans! I have always had to purchase larger jeans to accommodate my thighs but they were always too big in my waist and hips. These jeans fit great! I’m 5’ 2” and 128 lbs and purchased a size 27. Could possibly have gone with a 26 but I wanted them to be less snug. LOVE the button fly!
They almost felt too tight to start but stretched after first wear. Husband likes the look.
I bought these in a 31. I’m 5’5” and weigh around 160. They are very snug at first, but stretch out enough to be comfortable, but not baggy.
These jeans are very soft and fit great. I will definitely order more!
A perfect skinny fit with buttons that lay perfectly and don’t stab you when you sit down. My only critic is they are a tad short I am 5’5” with a 29”inseam, they come to the top of my ankle bone which might be an issue if you have longer legs.
I know these are skinny jeans but I think they run small; my other pairs of Fran are a 31 and they fit my 44/45” hips perfectly, but the Aprils are a bit smaller. Regardless of that, I love them and the high waist and the inseam length, and they give me the space my quads and glutes need. I’m always happy with the quality and workmanship of Fran, plus supporting American workers is important to me.
I have large legs and a small waist. These jeans are so comfortable and no tugging on the waist all day! They feel good and look even better! So glad I tried them. Worth every penny. I wear an 11-12 and ordered a 29! Perfect fit!
Ordered a size 27.
I measured between a 27 and 28 so I opted to size down, and I love them.
So these arrived on leg day, all inflamed and at my most bloated... and they fit. After wearing them all day today, they fit even better.
No more adjusting the waist every 30 seconds. They dont bunch and slide off my ass when I bend over. Theres ROOM for my butt and thighs?! And I dont mean to be dramatic... but the waist hugs so perfectly. In a way I have never felt. Secure, snug but not uncomfortable.... and girl, I had like 4 huge sushi rolls right before this picture.
The one thing I'll point out is at almost 5'8, this rise sits different- significantly lower- compared to the model. I actually picked this super high rise vs. regular high rise because this one is made in America, but this one likely fits me better anyway. With the exception that it may irritate my belly button ring after awhile.
Super happy. Going to order another style now.
The jeans are a perfect fit for my daughter’s athletic build. Thank you, Fran Denim!!!
I’m 5’9” with a 29” waist and 42” hips and ordered a size 28. I was surprised by how well these fit. I had about a 2 second worry they wouldn’t go up but they slid on and zipped easy peasy. I may be able to get away with a 27 but I kind of like the extra room. I love how they look and while I never thought I could use “jeans” and “comfortable” in the same sentence, MY GOD THESE JEANS ARE ACTUALLY COMFORTABLE! I can bend, lounge, move and am not constantly having to pull them up to make sure my butt hasn’t fallen out. Total win. Will be buying more pairs in different washes.
Absolutely love the fit and function of these jeans.
Love the fit but they took a month to arrive .
The jeans are great, super stretchy, very comfortable, and they don't squeeze and flatten my hips/thighs like most do. However, they are too big. I went by the sizing chart: My hips actually aligned with size 31, my waist with size 30. I went with size 30 to avoid the bunchy waist that you often get with high waist pants that aren't sized correctly. Turns out, I should have gone with size 29, as the waist is still much too big and bunches up, also leaving a small gap. For reference: I am 5'8'' and 170 lbs.
This, however, will not deter me from wearing these pants or buying others; I think I will just size down on the next order. Still very much a fan of the company, brand, and product.
These are so cute on! They’re not AS tight as my other Fran jeans in the same size but they look like they’re suppose to fit that way because of the camo print. They are super soft and comfortable but don’t feel like they’re going to stretch out after wearing them. For reference I’m 5’4”, about 140lbs with a short torso and longer legs. I wear a 29 in Fran shorts and a 27 in Fran jeans comfortably. These are a little long but I could get away with cuffing the bottoms or not.
Love the way these fit. I’m 5’7 150lbs.
I now own 5 pair of Fran Denim Jeans and look forward to my next pair.
I’ve bought 2 pairs of Fran denim, I have loved both styles
Seriously, these jeans fit like they were tailored just for my body, they’re so soft and comfortable. I could wear them all day everyday!
I’ve been buying Fran denim for years! I’ve always had an athletic lower half due to soccer and never have been able to wear jeans that fit. I am 5’2”, 123lbs and wear a size 26. I prefer the crop or the petite high rise jeans.
They are good in that they do fit athletic build but are kinda thin and not the best style. They’ll work but not my favorite FD jean.I do like that they are shorter but will have to finish the bottom myself because it frays a lot with each wash.
Love the fit. Love the color.
These jeans fit great and I wear them all the time. I'm 5'4", 140 and I bought the 28s. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and came back to try some shorts! Still patiently waiting for those to arrive ☺️
April Super High Rise Acid Wash
I love these jeans and the way they fit. Will definitely buy again
Super comfortable! The waist is high enough that these don’t slip down like other athletic jeans. They fit well without feeling too tight in the legs. I was worried the 31 would be too big but the size chart was accurate. I went by weight and height (I’m 5’5 170) and the fit is perfect for me. I will be buying more!
Love the fit in hips/thighs/waist but even petite sizing is too long. I'm 5'2" and unless I wear these with high heels, which I won't, I'll need to have them altered.
My Granddaughter loved these so much I had to buy her 2 more pair!
I myself have 2 pair... We both love them!
So originally I ordered a size 30 and they fit great but was not as snug above the butt. Exchanged for size 29 and they fit amazing! I’m actually going to order another pair because they feel so good on. I might even size down one more since I’m trying to loose weight and they do loosen up a little after wearing them for a while. I’m 5’2 148-150lbs. They are definitely pricey, but so worth it! It’s better to have jeans that feel good, and look good than several cheap ones are uncomfortable and not flattering.
I first heard about Fran Demin on Instagram, and I wasn't sure if the cut was going to be for me. But, I've always been thicc through the thighs, and have had to size up in the past for that reason. And THEN I saw that they offered a petite flare jean, which I've been looking for forever. I'm 5'3" and the 30" inseam is perfect! They just barely graze the ground in the back with flats and look super cute with heels, too. I wasn't sure what size to order because I was in-between on both the measurement and height/weight charts, and I reached out to customer support. They got back to me, made a sizing recommendation and they fit PERFECTLY. These are totally worth the price tag.
Finally, jeans for ladies who lift!
I debated returning these but ended up keeping them because they actually do fit and it’s so hard for me to find jeans that fit. I didn’t realize that they were going to be ankle-length. I’m 5’8’ 165 and the 31’s fit my waist and have room in the hips but don’t even reach my ankle. The inseam is also very long -well above belly-button. It would be great if it were an inch or two shorter in the front.
All I can say is OMG!!! I am typically not an online clothes shopper.. I've always been "hard to fit" with thicker thighs and smaller waist and going out on a limb to purchase at these prices set my anxiety on high! BUT after reading all the reviews I took the leap of faith and ordered.. YES! I'm in heaven. Hands down the most comfortable jeans I have EVER owned. Fit is perfect. Style is perfect. Quality is amazing. I am a forever customer now!!! I am 5'5-1/2" 145lbs 35-36" Hips, 28" Waist and got a size 26 and the fit is absolutely perfect. They do have stretch and are looser after wearing a while but still very comfortable and flattering.
I have 4-5 pairs of Fran and this is my favorite so far. The most comfortable and I like the inseam length. I'm 5'1'' and weigh 125 and I got the 24. Is a little more roomy than other pairs of Fran I have but I actually like that. Some of the other Frans I have are a little tighter than I'd like. They fit me fine, but I like the extra room in the mom jeans. I would love a pair that fits similarly, but isn't quite as high rise.
Fran has to be my all time favorite jeans ever. I expanded my wardrobe with the Esme mom jean, and I was not disappointed. They run a teeny bit bigger than the other styles, but still fit with room for the peach and no gap at the waist.
I've been thinking about purchasing Fran denim for a while, but the price made me hesitate. I finally bought them as a birthday present for myself, and I'm so pleased that I did! When I put these jeans on, it was truly the first time I can remember ever pulling on pants and knowing they fit exactly as they should. I have always struggled to find pants that didn't have an enormous waist gap or too-tight thighs. Even "curvy fit" pants don't accommodate my athletic build. These are wonderfully comfortable and cute, and no tugging whatsoever to get them on. I love them, and I'm looking forward to getting more.
I ordered according to website recommendations (28) & had to exchange for a 31, which was fairly easy. Customer service reached out to me, to make sure the 31s would fit all my measurements. I’m Native American & an ice hockey goalie, so the 28s wouldn’t even go on over my 25 inch quads. The 31s fit perfectly! The waist is loose enough to tuck a shirt in comfortably, if I want, but not enough to slide down or gap at all. I got the flares so I don’t know if I’d have a problem with my 16 inch calves in the skinny jeans or not. The denim thickness & the super sturdy zipper are superior to FitJeans (their largest size was tighter than compression leggings & those were a nightmare to return; I had to file an application & wait for it to be approved). I’m 5ft 2, weight 162, with a 30 inch waist & 42 in hips (glutes), for additional reference.
I am glad I purchased these jeans - so comfortable! The only thing I wish was different was the length. I could’ve used an extra inch or two to make these jeans perfect!
love the feel and fit of these jeans, however the pockets just seem very off for me, too high (yes i know they are high rise) just dont get why pockets have to be so high up makes my bum look kind of flat :-( the rest of the fit is great i do love the feel and comfort of these jeans.
I’m 5ft 6 and 138lbs and bought size 28. I have a-line hips. I love these jeans! So stretchy and soft and they look great on my thighs and butt :D
Best pair of jeans ever!!!
It took me a long time to decide on a pair of jeans. I decided correctly!! These are my new favorites! I now need a pair without the distressing so I can wear them to work! They fit perfectly!
I am obsessed with these jeans and they are my new favorites. I am the same measurements and height as the model, but I have the molly shorts in a size 28 so I ordered both the 27 and 28s. Both fit great (comfortable in the bum/hips and no gaping at the waist) but since these jeans have a lot of stretch I went with the 27s because I was afraid the 28s would be too loose for my liking once they stretched out. They fit me just like they fit the model. I love the high waist and these are so flattering and comfortable I have been wearing them every day that I'm not working.
Love these cute jeans! I'm 5'3" 136 lbs and wear a 27 in Fran Denim Mika petite. I ordered two sizes and found that the 26 fit me best in these because they are cut with a little more room. Really cute and comfy! Can't wait to wear these all summer!
